REMEDY AGAINST
D YSPEPSIA.
D r. j. w. attridge s tincture for in-
digestion, termed Dyspepsia. The discov
ery of this Medicine has been the effect of long
and attentive study, and is now made public from
the most decided conviction founded on umple
e- perieuce of its power in eradicating this disease,
after every other Medicine hud failed. It has on
ly been in this country twelve months, and it has
done wonders in giving restoration, and in astii-
matical cases, its beneficial effect has been aston
ishing. Dr. James Farmer, Member of the Royal
College of Surgeons in London, declares in his
Treatise, that Asthma nnd indigestion are found
coexisting, the stomach at all times exerts consid
erable influence over the pulmonary functions,
and it is therefore fair to conclude that the former
disease is aggravated by the latter. Asthmatic
people, coiitiuu s the learned Doctor, should im
pose upon themselves the same regulation as if
the case were purely dispentic. This tincture o-
pens obstructions oftlie spleen and liver, clenns-
eth tlie breast of phlegm, and the chest of hu
mours gathered therein; removes pain in the back,
stomach and sides, nnd the windy cholic. ALo
giddiness in the bend, which all proceed from in
digestion. It Iihs been recommended by some
oftlie most eminent physiciansasavaluable med
icine in di9pepsiu,but it does not cure all diseases.
