T HIS establishment commenced ope
ra lions for tho season, the beginning
of this month, and having heat all tho old
rice nn hand is now in complete urder for
itlie reception uf ilia new crop, hating plen
ty of room and separate bins for each lot.
Tho mill will he kept going night and day
as soon as the supply will warrant it—It I*
now ascertained that from 80 lo 100 bar
rels can lie cleaned in the 24 Ilnurs ” the en
gine ami machinery being first rate” so that
planters sending rice lo this mill may cal
culate within a few days when they can re-
ccivo it ready fog; market. The mill will
furnish barrels whenever required at 87 t-2
cents each, and will land rough tice from
llie deck of vossels ot half a cent per Imshcl.
The proprietors have orected on tho go end
ses a range of very secure & file proof briok
buildings covered with slate, for the pui-
pnse of storing rice when required by which
the owners uf it, may avoid the expense of
drnyages, tic. and praservs its good order
