This articlo differs essentially from the
semiopaque, yellow crystals, obtained by
simple evaporation anil purification of the
dlcholmlic solution.
Oil ol Black Pepper. (Precipitated,) q
powerful stimulant and Valuable remedy in
typhus lever, also as an external stimulanl
united with Decoction of Cantharidcs in
Spirit of Turpentine.—Caution. An oil
of black pepper may bo found in tlm mar
ket, obtained by distillation—Ibis is liv no
means the same a. the article abovo descri
bed, and is very foeble," if not entirely des
titute of tlm particular property for which
the above lias been introduced. One
drop of oil of black pepper, added to six
grains of quinine, will greatly Increase Ihe
powers of this remedy.
Extract of Quinine. This is tlm resid
uum ofthe prcpaiation of Quinine. Two
grains are felly equal to one of Ihe former;
end, as U Is less than One third the price, it
it nf course much cheaper to the practition
er than the sulphate.
Citrated Kali, for cxtcninoraneoiisly
making Ihc saline draught. One drachm
of this salt dissolved in four ounces of wa
ter instantly forms tho neutral mixture, o
qua) and similar in every respect to that
made from fresh lemon juice.
Black Oxldoof Mercury, toi extempo
raneously forming the. blue pill, One
fourth of a giaili equal to four grains of
blue mass.
Solidified Balsam Cnpaivn. This pre
paration contains the Oil and Resin, and
is rendered solid for the convenience of
forming into pills. This article contains
all the virtues of tlroCopaiva in a concen
trated degree.

and nineteen, and eighteen hundred and
twenty-one, to take out grants for the
lands thus drawn, and after the time
thcroih specified, to vest the same in the
stare.
B E it enacted by the Senate and liouso

Georgia iu General Assembly met. and
it is hereby enacted by the autlinrily of
tlm same, That every’ i*rson who was a
forturiato drawer in Iho land lollerics by
ihe authority of the acts passed on the fif
teenth day of December, eighteen bundled
and eighteen, on the sixteenth day of De
centber, eighteen hundred and nineteen,
am! nn ihe fifteenth dav of May, eighteen
bundled and twemy-ono, shall have dntil
the first day of November, eighteen hun
dred and iliirly, to take nut his, her oi
•heir giant upon paying into the Trea
sury the sum of eight dollars.
Sec. 2 And be it further enacted by
the authority afoiesaid. That froili ami af
ter the first dgy of November, eighteen
Ktindred and thirty, the lands so drawn as
aforesaid,nnd not granted, shall revert to
and becume tho property of tire Stale.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted. That
this act shell not extond to any lot or lots
ofland drawn by orphans until three years
after ihe said orphans shall have arrived at
the age of iweiily-ouc years; nor to any
lots drnwn by idiots or lunatics or persons
who have departed this life since they
gave in for a draw or draws in said lotteries
of 1818, 1819 nnd 1821, and whose estates
are unrepresented, nor to any lots num
ber ton and one humlrod set apart for the
purposes of public education.
Sec. 4. And he it foither enacted, Thai
all laws and parts nf laws militating a-
gainst this act. be and tho same aic hereby
repealed.
Sec. 5. Andie it. further enneted by
Iho authority aforesaid, That it shall be
the duty of his Excellency tbs Governor,
to cause this act to be pttolished in all llie
public Gazettes of this Stale,once a month,
until the first day of November next, nnd
that he cause the expenses of such puhlicn
tlon to be paid out of ihe contingent fund.
