of black pepper may be found iii the mar
ket, obtained by distillation—this Is hv no
means the same as the article above descri
bed. and is very feeble. If not entirely des
titute of the particular property for which

powers of this remedy
Extract of Quinine. This b tho resid

is of course much cheaper to the practition

Citrated Kali, for extemporaneously
making the salino draught. One drachm
of this salt dissolved in four nonces of wa
ter instantly forms the neutral mixture, e-
qual and similar ill every respect to that
innilc from fresh lemon jiilce.
Black Oxide of Mercury, loi extempo
raucously funning die blue pill. One
fourth of a grain equal'to four grains of
blue mass.
Solidified Balsam Copaiva. This pre
paralion contains die Oil and Resin, and
is rendered solid fur die convenience of
forming into pills. This articlo contains
nil the virtues of the Copaiva in a concen
trated degree.

B E it enacted hy the Senate ami House
of Kcptcsentntivei ol the State of
Georgia in General Assembly met, and
is is Itoreby enacted hy the authority of
the same, That every porson who was
fortunate drarvei ill tlio land lotteries hy
the authority of the acts passed on tlio fif
teenth dnv of December, eighteen bundled
and eighteen, on the sixteenth day of Do
member, eighteen hundred and nineteen
ml on the fifiemith day of May, eighteen
bundled and twetlly-ono, shall hava until
the first day nf November, eighteen" bun-
dred and iliirjy, to take out Ills, her oi
'.heir giant upon paying inio the Trea
sury ihe sum of eight dollars.
Sec. 3 And he it furtiier enacted bv
tho authority afutesaid. That from and af
ter the first day of November, eighteen
hunched and thirty, tiie lands in drawn as
aforesaid.anil not granted, shall revert to
and become tlio property of the Stale.
Sec. 8. And ho it further enacted, That
this act shall not extend to any lot or lots
of land drawn hy orphans Until three years
after tlio said orphans shall have arrived al
the age of twenty one years; nor lo any
lots drawn by idiots or lunatics or persons
who hare departed this Ufa since they
gave in for a draw or draws in said lotteries
of 1818, 1810 and 1821, and ulioso estates
are unrepresented, nor to any lots nutn<
her ten nnd one hundratl set apart for tiie
purposes of public education.
Sec. 4. Ami he it fuitlicv enacted, That
all laws and parts of laws militating
gainst this act. be anti the same aro hereby
repealed.
Sec. 5. And be it further enacted
tho authority aforesaid. That it shall Ire
the doty ofhis Excellency the Governor,

public Gazettes oflhis State,once a mouth
until the'firsl day of November next, and
that he cause the expenses of such pnhlicn
tion to be paid out of llie contingent fund.
