Kay Sands, of same county, to ait: on the
ttth day of February 1810, being indebted
to the said Ethan, in the sum of eighteen
thousand one hundred and eighty dollars
for which they jointly and severally exe
cuted four promissory notes of said Ethan,
bearing said date, one of which was fat the
sum of four thousand two hundred dollars,
and payable 12th Fob. 1817, one other for
she sum of four thousand seven hundred dr
ten dollars, payable ltth Feb, 1818, one
other lor four thousand four htindrrd and
•en dollars, payable 12th Feb, 1819, and
lhe 4ih and last note payable on the 12th
Fell. 1820, for the sum of fotfr thousand
night hundred and fifty dollars, together
making said sum of eighteen thousand ono
hundred and eighty dollars—the better
secure the payment of which sem of money
the said Henry Sadler, then in life, and
