is the best thing I erer found.
In cases of the chitmio kind where the
blood is cold and stagnant, by taking the
pills first to quicken the blond, inoiobene
lit will ba found from bleeding. It is in
general as necessary to bleed in tho chin
nioas'the other; I hare bad raises where
it has been uf many years standing, that I
fount! in the courso of the' cure Are or six
bleedings to lie absolutely necessary, liy

to do them more good and bear it better

in their operations. As to spasms, I con

mutism, for f conceive it to arise from
tb* same causes, viz. wet and cold: it fre
quently attends the rheumatism, and gener
ally affects the same constitutions, and i
hare found the tame remedies to equally
relieve.
Pitts of various kinds 1 have known to

If on taking-cold a few of there pill, are
taken on going to bed, they will be found
to operate kindly the neat dry, and carry
alt anv bad effect, which might have re
ntained of such cold if they had not been
taken.

assignee of Ethan Clark; ,hewing
that Henry Sadler, late of Camden county,
deceased, in his life time, together with
Ray Sands, of tama county, to wit: on tho
18th day of February 1818, being indebted
te the said Ethan, in the aunt of eighteen
thousand one hundred and eighty dollars
for which they jointly and severally exe
cuted four promissory notes of said Ethan,
beating said date,one of which was fat tho
sum of four thousand two hundred dollars,
and payable ISth Feb. 1817, one other for
the sum of four thousand seven hundred At
ten dollars, payable 12th Feb. 1818, one
other for four thousand four hundred and
ten dollars, payable 12th Feb. 1818, and
the Atb and last nute payable on the 12th
Feh. 1820, for the sutn of four thousand
eight hundred and fifty uu'it.i., together'
making said sum of eighteen thousand one
hundred and eighty dollars—the better to
seeure the payment of which sum of money
the said Henry Sadler, then in life, and
Ray Sands did on the ISth day of Februa
ry, 1818, mortgaged to said Ethan, all
that tract or parcel of land on Crooked
Creek in said county, called Greenfield
plantation, containing twenty three him
dred and twenty fivo acres, more or less,
originally granted to Dr. David Oliphant,
beginning at a stake at Crooked Creek,
running south 88* west 155. chains by
land of John Clark and others, thence
south 1° east l&U chains to the lands of
James 51oore, thence br the same land now
or late of the estate of Samuel Brailsford,
thence by the same to the place of begin
ning—and also one undivided fifth part of
a tract o( land, situated on. or near St Ma
rys river, in the county aforesaid called
and known by the namo of Catfish Tract,
containing in the whole aeven thousand
five hundred acres more or less—and also
forty one negro slaves therein enumerated,
with the conditions that the said money
should be agreeable to the tenor of said
nolos, there set forth, paid, as thoy respec
tively become due, and providing thnt said
mortgage should not be foreclosed, until
the last payment was due and unpaid, and
•hnwine that a part nf said monev. to wit :
eleven Hundred' and forty six dollars and
IS cents, besides interest from the 18th
day of January. 1828, remains uu aid,and
praying the foreclosure of said mortgage
—and on motion it is ordered that the le

iu application according to accompanying
directions, the Corn is nofiened, attenuat
ed, and drawn out by tlie roots, without
the least pain, or any of the trouble and
danger attending (he hazardous and iniif-
fectudl practice ol exUacting the Corn by
mere cutting.
The following instances, from many
othetsofst simitar character,t*ufficient!y
attest to the superior efficacy of the Albion
Corn Plaster:
Mr. Farrar, of Boston, was a number of
fears distressed by a very painful Corn.
iad applied every thing recommended
without effect, and was rendered a perfect
cripple. On applying this Blaster he was
perfectly aired of bis Coro, and freed -from
Ills laaienes*.
A gentleman of Greenfield was years af
flicted with a very painful corn,- aud was
cured by one box, after every oilier piaster
had been tried to no purpose.
Mi. Cutler, of Boston, was cured of
troublesome corn by one box.
Certificate.’—'To those afflicted with corns
onth**ir feei, I do certify, that I have used
the Albion Com Plaster with complete sue
cess. Before i had used one box, it com
pletely cured a corn which had troubled
me for many years. I make this public for
the benefit of those afflicted with that pain
ful complaint.
