In cases of the chronic kfod where the
blood is cold and stagnant, by taking ihe

Fitts of various kinds 1 have known to
be perfectly cured by these pills.
The rheumatic pills, which I now offer
the pnhlic for trial, will Le-found, for com
mon use, the most safe, effectual and plea
sant physic over offered, being composed
entirely of vegetable materials, they do
not predispose to take cold hke other phv
sic, may be taken any time, they give an
appe ite assist disgestion, and carry off all
crudities from the stomach. They may bo
taken by females iu circumstances to great
advantage.
If on taxing cold a few of these pills
taken on going to bed, they will he found
to operate kindly the next day. and carry
oft anv bad effects which might have
mained of such cold if they had not been
taken.
Families will find by a free use of these
pills, that one half, at least, of the usual
services of the Physicians may be dispensed
with, and at the same time get rid of many
chronic complaints, which cause many to
drag out an unhappy life.

overwhelming evidences of the efficacy of
the Arcanum in chronic rhciimati»m and
other stubborn dtr-cascs. I am actuated by
no other inotiies than those of ende.ivoilng
to extend the benefit to such us a*a sins;
tarty affected, and the expression of my
giaiitude to l)i. I*helps.
For fifteen years I have been laboring
under a painful and ted 5 ons rheumatism,
to that degree I could not raise my right
hand to my head. I have also been great
|y troubled with a gravel affection of the
kidneys and other urinary organs, which
have become very much relieved, if not
radically cured, hy this medicine. The
rheumatic affection has entirely subsided
and there tie no symptoms of a recurrence
of the disease.
I have employed for years the mo^t emi
nent physicians within my knowledge with
I out any permanent alleviation whatever,
and l had come to the conclusion there
