The whole quantity of the said beef and
Pork, tnust be perfectly salted in the first
instance with, and afterwards packed with
a sufficient quadtity of clt*an, coarse,white

salt, and no other, to insure its preservi*
t*on, with five ounces ol pure salt petre 16
