YVARB’S VEGETABLE HAIR
OIL.
I N all ages of the world a beautiful Head of
Hair has been considered the greatest orna
ment ever bestowed by nature upon the human
frame, and indispensably necessary to the perfec
tion of persona! beauty. It is a vervgeneriil com
plaint of young persons, that their hair is falling
off or becoming'nry and unhealthy; this may be
owing to the application of improper and injuri
ous oils, or to tiie entire neglect of the hair. With
out proper attention, diseases of the hair will a-
riso, which are often found to occasion thinness,
falling off and frequently total baldness. For
these evils, and the necessary inconveniences at
tending them, Ward's Vegetable Hair Oil will be
found in all cases a sure remedy. Before offer
ing tliis Oil to the public it had been tried in hun
dreds of cases nf baldness, thinness and falling oft'
of the hair and in every instance its salutary ef-
tects have been realized to admiration. It has
never failed to produce a new & beautiful growth
of hair on heads already bald and to check that
failing off which so often occurs. In cases where
it becomes dry and ceases to grow, this Oil will
very soon render it healthy and produce a rapid
and beautiful growth without the least injury to
the most delicate head; nor does any fulling off
follow after using it. That loss of hair which so
often take place after sickness, may be easily pre
vented by using this celebrated Oil. In short no
Oil has ever been oft'ered to the public that gives
such universal satisfaction and stands the test of
experience like Ward’s Vegetable Hair Oil.
That the public may rest assured of die salutary
ott'ects of this Oil, the following testimonials from
gentlemen of high respectability are most respect
fully submitted:—
Lowell, Mareh 21,1832.
I certify that ray Hair was falling off very rap
idly, and I found I should be entirely bald in a
short time, if I could not find some remedy. On
having E. A. Ward's Vegetable Hair Oil recom
mended to me, 1 niude trial of il, and to my great
astonishment, I soou found my Hair restored.
IRA FRV
To E. A. Ward of Rowell.
Sm—I take the liberty of addressing my thanks
toyou, for the great benefit 1 have received from
your truly valuable Oil. Having had the misfor
tune to loose my Hair, so that my head was en
tirely smooth on the top. I was induced to make
use of your Vegetable Hair Oil. In a short time
my head was covered with thick und strong Hair.
I think it but justice to yourself and the public to
add my testimony to the virtues ofyour inestima
ble Oil. You have my full permission to make
this letter public, or to refer any one to me for
proofs of the uiorits of this invaluable discovery.
WELD SPALDING,
Merchant, Central-Street, Lowell.
New- York. February 27,1832.
Dig Ward:—Dear Sir—Your Hair Oil, you
were good enough to put into my li.m 1 - when I
was in Lowell, has produced the most wo i icrlul
effects on my hair I ever witnessed. Inn recol
lect when 1 called on you my Ilair had fallen very
much, and I wusquite bald—I liuve now a beau
tiful head of Hair coming on very rapidly. I
hardly know how to express my gratitude to you
for the benefit the Oil has uft'orded me. A number
of my friends are very anxious to obtain some of
the Oil. and 1 wish you to send me ono dozen
bottles of the largest size immediately.
Yours Respectfully, C. WOOD, M. D.

DEAFNESS.
The Acoustic Oil advertised below is said fo
be a remedy for deafness. As it emanates from
one who has acquired some popularity in treat
ing diseases of the eye and ear. we should feel
disposed to have sufficient, confidence in the re
medy, a least to give it a trial, that is, if we had
any occasion for it.
DR. SCUDDER’S GENUINE ACOUSTIC-
OIL FOR DEAFNESS.
T HE never failing remedy has been used
many years with distinguished succetta
at the Eye and 1 ar Infirmity of Dr. Seudder,
and is confidently recommended as an extraordi
nary and wonderful remedy for either partial ox
complete deafness in all its stages.
By die timely use of this pungent Oil, many
who have been completely deaf have been re
stored to perfect hearing after using from three
to four flasks. This may appear strange, but it
Is nevertheless true. Tne acoustic Oil is not
pre-ented to the public as a nostrum, but as the
prescription of one who has turned his attention
exclusively to the Eye and Ear, and who pledges
his professional reputation upon the success oik
this remedy.
Dr. Seudder has numerous certificates, but
hesitates to publish them, as he considers them
unnecessary to so truly vulnable an article as
the Acoustic Oil. Its immediate sale is the fair
est proof of the estimation in which it is hekL
Itis presented as a public blessing, enabling tho
aged parent to.mingle in conversation with his
children, and to r ply to their numerous que»
tions with a facility from which he had previous
ly been debarred by a distressing partial or com
plete deafness.
Caution.—None is genuine without the rig?
nature of Dr. Seudder, to counterfeit whicB
will be punishable as forgery.
Price, including directions, one dollar the
flask. For sale at the Eye and Ear Infirmary ok'
Dr. Seudder, New-York, and by his agents ii»
all the principal towns in Eusope and America.

THeTkENSET PLASTER.
HE celebrated KLNSET PLAST It
whose sanatory properties in alleviating,
or removing pain or weakness in the breast,
side, bach, or limbs; also for rheumatism, liver
somplaint, and dyspepsia, have been amply tes
ted by multitudes in the wide Bpread popula
tion of the western continent, and also in tbo
Spanish, Danish, and British West India Is
lands.
The above Plaster is the invention of an emi
nent surgeon; and from the numerous instances
of its salutary effects in the aforementioned dis
tressing complaints, the proprietor can recom
mend it with the most confidence. They feel
pleasure in stating, without tear of contradic
tion that but of the extensive sales, both in the
Islands, and throughout the United States, not
one plaster in fifty has been returned; they, there
fore, trust that this fact will afford the stronger
possible evidence of their superior efficacy.
