Most of tue diseases of children originate in
verminous affections.
Worms destroy the nourishment which is iu
tended by nature to support life.
The immediate effect of Swainfs Vormifu;
are to tranquilize the stomach, clear itof aciduou-
plffegin, dissipete superfluous bile, increase uie
grastrie juices and promote healthy digestion.
It alleviates sick headache, and is an antedote
for the Cholera .Morbus of our country, dirrau
fever and ague, and that class oi' diseases wine
owe their origin to ,i disordered state of the sm
macli or bowels.
Tun remedy expels worms by giving heult.
action to the stomach and organs of digestiot
There is nothing iu its composition to kill worn.
They are seldom seen after its use, and tlie ]
tient itnprovess in health, color and appeti
t’itose remedies which kill worms, must ol coti
injure the stomach materially, and the cause
many serious complaints. This fact has b
materially neglected by the faculty, and tin-
ror has never been discovered until dwaim’s V
mifuge proved it to the entire satisfaction
-very family >vlio!ias used it.
Tne medicine is no less elficacious in man
the diseases of grown persons, by d;

dysentery, diarriuB, cholera morbus, piles, fi ■
and ague, dyspepsia, acidity of the stom.n

seqent upon billions disorders.
It is now in general use in most parts of
world. Families resident in the Country, tra

tant tropical climates, (insulated front tn ■

HEDICATED OIL SILK.
HIS important discovery,so universally up.
JL proved, where tried, and tlie respectability
ot t.ie reference aud certificates, warrants the pro
prietor in recommending it highly as a family
remedy, tor removal of pain, occasioned by gout,
rheumatism, colds, liver complaint, &c., pain in
the head, back, breast, side and limbs, and noth
ing can compare with it for the cure of scrofula
or king's evil, swelled breast, sore throat, swel
lings, enlargements, stiffness in the joints, corns,
frost-bitten limbs, &c. Everyday adds proof to
its virtues.
Directions.—For pain onlywfirst rub tlie affect
ed part with warm vinegar or spirits, then gentlv
warm and apply the plaster, if for the limbs in
strips, the edges to lap; any other part as hritesi,
side, &c. in form of plaster, well fastened by com
press and bandage, and change occasionally. It
generally producing ou the part applied perspi
ration, and a slight irritating sensation, which is
followed by a total removal of the pain.
For corns, first wash with warm water, and
with a knife remove the hard part, then apple
the plaster. A few applications renewed every
two or throe days will entirely destroy them.
We subjoin the following certificate, which
from tlie character and standing ofthe gentlemen
whose signatures it bears, will preclude the ne
cessity of giving along train of certificates of tb
cures this wonderful remedy has effected.
