LB CORDIAL llli LUUINE.
T OU VEUXIU Dl1 L'AMOUR.
Ilb subscriber Inis the pluusuro of an*
notiiiuing to the citizens orthe U. State*,
that ho haa purchased, for a vary large aiiui and
from tho inventor, the oolehrntod Ur. Magniu,
of Faria, tho recipe and right for making thi*
ustoiiHhitig tnadioitio. Until the appearance
nf tho 'Lucina Cordial,' (about throe year*
aincu.) it win thought that tho complaint*,
which it npucdily uvurcomu., wore beyoud tho
teach of human remedy, a* for upward* nf a
thousand year*, they had baffled tho wisdom
and ingenuity of the most profound physician*
in all part* of the world. This Cordial, how
ever, to the great advantage of the human taco,
soon proved itself to he the desideratum so long
•ought for; and accordingly, notwithstanding
the brief period of ite existence, it ha* required
a celobrity so great, that it i* engetly inquired
fur throughout the civilized globe. Dr. Mug-
mil soon finding that tho demand was so vast
ns to render a supply impossible, disposed of
the teeipe and right of sale, under obligations
of secrecy, for England, the United States, and
other countries, only preserving Franco nnd
Italy for himself. Thus has the subscriber pos-
sotted himselfof tho invaluable seoret, and now
liAstous to give the inhabitants of his line of
agoncy the benefits ofliis speculation,
v t Ue Luciiie' or. in English, 'the
Lucina Cordial,’ is n general invigorutor of the
human frame! In nil tho various cases of Ian*
guor, lassitude, and debilitation; It is mii uiifaiU
ing remody; ns it is equally its province to im
part cheerfulness and decision to the mind, ns
health and vigor to the body. But the peculiar
virtue on which its celebrity is bnsod, is the ft*
cilitv and certainty with which it restores the
virile powers when they have been destroyed
by disease, time, recklessness, or any of the nu
merous causes which terminate in the prostra
tion of those function*.
In common with the generality of really good
medicines, this Cordial contains nothing of a
mercurial or deleterious nature, among tho mu*
tty ingredients which compose it; but is, at the
same time, so simple, yet so efflo icious, that
while it can renovate the prostrated energies of
a giant, nn infant tnay use it, not only with iuu
pisnity, but with advantage.
The usages of society uro unfortunately stieh,
that, notwithstanding the benefits which would
be sure to result from it, wo cannot enter into
an analysis of this inostimablo Cordial here, or
E iiblish many of the documents which have
een received, as vouchers of the blessings it
has conferred on numbers ofdespaiiing iudivid.
ualJ. Uut this we cannot forbear remarking—
that it has boon demonstrated that thore i«
scarcely ever, ifuny such thing at all, as natu*
ral barrenness, or as natural imbecility of the
procreant functions, in either sex; und therefore
that these evils are tho effects of artificial cans*
es, and tnay be speedily subdued and removed
by the use of 'Lo Cordial do Lucine.’
The Lucina Cordial is also an indubitable
cure for the Gleet, and tho Fluor Albux, ob
structed, difficult, or painful .\leii*truation; also,
for the incontinence of IJrino, or the involunta
ry discharge thereof. It is likewise an tnvalii
able and unrivalled medicine in cases of Chrou.
ia Eruptions of the skin, and in the dropsical
affections of the aged.

tificate, which he has received from the iuven
lur, the illustrious Dr. Mngnin, of Paris:
'This is toooitify. that I have disposed of the

for so dniug is, that the demands to me for the
above Cordial, of which I am the inventor, are
so Numerous, that I am unable to supply all the

therefore disposed of tho privileges vouchsafed
