Tho grading of the entire road from Savan nah lo the Woet bank of the Altamaha river is endar contract. tk The trestle work and bridging for the same distance ere let, with tile exception ol 6,000 feet of treetie work. 3. Sixteen miles of wooden superstructure, toAho Weal bank of the Great Ogeechee river, are under contract. Thru* hundred and sixty thouaaud foot (B. M ) of crosa-iii* have been received and stacked at the present terminus ol tho road in Ba* vanuah. They will he put down upon the rccep* lion of the iron. The contract for grading sections 1.4?, 3, 4,6 and I of 6 will bo completed In September, 196ft! Sections I of 0, 7, 8 and 9 will bo completed In February, 1866; Motion 10in April, I860 ; section II in May, 1866; aection 18,13,14 and 1ft in Feb* ruary, 1856; section 16 in October, 1866; section 17 in October, i860, and section 18 in Novoinbor, 1858.
