supposed lo have died with the disease. The next
morning I wns taken with severe vomiting, accompanied
with coldness of the exlrcinelies. Warm covering und
hot application* failed lo restore warmth. M- wife's
family, who had used the Fain Killer with sue'ess dor
ing Ihe cholera season In l uffulo in 1819, advised mo lo
lake R. I look two doses at Intervals of llflecii minutes;
a fine perspiration ensued, and the next day, barring a
little weakness, I was well, and havo been since.
It may have been an nttack of Ague, bill whether
Aguo or Cholera. It answered my purpose.
