Vidauri has addressed a noto to Secretary Marcy, complaining of a viola tion of the Mexican troMty, and charging the com mander of Fort Duncan with conniranco with thu filibusters. Tho news of tho espturo of Sovastopo! was re ceived via Savannah, nnd for " a most thrilling narrativo of tho etato of tho wounded when tho placo was entered by tho Allies," our West Indian contemporary oxproiacs his obligations to tho Re publican. Tho General Assembly of tho Bahama Islands had boon further prorogued to Monday, the 7th of January next. Sovoral cases of yollow fever had occurred at Barbados, sixteen of which appeared among the Royal Artillory. Tho greater number of the men had arrived vory rccontly from Trinidad. Six deaths woro reported, and tho others woro recov ering. Tho troops in garrison, as a precautionary measure, wore camped out on olovatod sites in tho neighborhood. Tho Intost information is to tho effect that the disease, which had never assumed an epidemic form, was gradually wearing out, and no now coses having occurred lor sovoral days, tho excitement occasioned in tho island by its npponr* ance had quite subsided. 'Prado was said to be dull, aud money scarce. A bill had been introduced in tho IIouso of As sembly of St. Kitts "to establish a Legislative Assembly for the island of St. Christopher and Anuuilln, in lieu of tho Council and Assembly ns at ptesent by Inw established." A joint committee ol the council and Assembly of Gremida bad been appointed # to prepare a me morial to the Imperial Logialnturo setting forth tho great depression of the agricultural and cominer* ctal allairs of tho colony, stniing the concurrent causes of such depression, and earnestly soliciting i ho adoption ol such mensures ns may ho calcula ted to afford tho colony immedinto relief. A Mili tia Bill had passed tho Legislature of Grenada, also a bill to punish persons deaorting thoir wives and children. A public meeting had been held at Tobago for tbe purpose of petitioning Her Majesty for the re moval of tho Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Shortland* from the administration of affairs in the colony, tbe existing differences between the House ol As sembly and Mis Excellency, rendering it impera tive. Tho Am. brig"Tribuno,” of Orleans (Maine), Cummings, master, bound from Ncuvitns to Now York with a cargo ol cedar, mnhogany, fustic, honey and cigars, got ashore on Sugar Cays, coast of Cuba, on the 4th ultimo. The captain, soconl mate, and two men, were taken off by a Spanish •loop, eight 4lays aftor tho wreck, and enrried to Neuvilas.
