When it is considered that llrunswick offers the best harbor lor shipping south of thu Chesapeake, that it is a point at which ail Uie ma terial for ship bunding and repairing can be ob tained, on the most favorable terms, that there is no Navy Vard between Norfolk and l'entucula, a length of coast of nearly ffuuu uules, that it is cap able of being made a strong point for military de fence to the Southern Atlantic coast, and that it is Uie natural outlet to that ocean, lor the extensive travel aud trade ol the vast countiy stretching along the Gulf ui Mexico, the oigect contemplated by the resolution, is utie ol deep concern to the cute of Georgia.
