right to cross one or more public streetsdu tho City of
Savannah.
Sec. I. Be it ordained by tho Mayor aud Aldermen of
the City of Savannah and Hamlets thereof in Council a»-
s. inblcd, nnd it is hereby ordained by the authority of
the same. That the said Charlc*tnn and Savnnnnh Rail
road shall have tire* right and authority to cross or pass
through any street withiu the corporate limits of the city
ol Savannah that may lm necessary to reach its own de-
j*it. where it shall purchase the necessary land upon the
• tme terms and condition* that are grouted the Savannah,
Albany aud Gulf If. R. In passing from their depot to tho
river: Provided, that ull of said crossings shall be west of
