fold paid for what it cost. To give your drill u fair trial,
I planted every other row with the drill, nnd thu Intor-
ning row * I phinted ns well us ever cotton waa plnnted
drill coin" Into use. Tho result was, that in

the row planted with your drill I got a more vcrfect
stand, and 1 think lt grew off much belter, besides I
realized a great saving iu tho labor of working over my
cotton the two first times. I shall continue to uso them

eight of your Cotton-seed Drills, manufactured by J. II.
M'atson. on Col. J. Rond's Fowltown plantation. I am
m b pleased with Ilium, linving realized great saving of
ed. of labor iu planting nnd chopping out, and tho
hands at the first siding could go over at least one-third
more In ii day, and do better work than in cotton planted
in the best way f could plant with coulter nnd block. I
have no hesitation in giving it us my opinion that In tha
use of voiir drills there fa a saving of one-third of tho la
bor of cultivating a cotton crop. Col. Bond Is pleased
with them nml will miitintiu their use.
