The County Schools.
Wo enjoyed a visit last week to
Bethel; Ritch and Oak Ridge
schools. Prof. J. P. Shedd is
holding the Bethel school up to
the same high standard which has
characterized it for several years.
He understands the science of
teaching. A visitor to this school
is impressed with the bright, in
telligent pupils, from the lowest
to the highest graces. Special at
tention is paid to music aud the
school has an organ of its own.
The houses is complete and is sea
ted with neat, home made desks.
The walls are decorated with bean
tiful and inspiring pictures.
Prof. J. A. Lee is doing good
work at- Ritch. This is one ol'
the strong schools also. While
the schools lias nice, home made
desks, the teacher aud patrons are
not content with these aud they
have placed an order fer fifty pat
ent desks.
