Mr. Campbell Donald, who sings the role of “Guy rtf Gisborne” in the fa mous comic opera, “Robin Hood,” which comes to this city Wednesday at the Rawlins theater, was for many years associated with the Bostonians in “Robin Hood,” and achieved his splendid reputation in the role he is now playing. Mr. Donald has a finely cultured voice and is well remember ed along with the late Jessie Bartlett Da\is, with whom he sang in the P.< s- r».\rs. For this great revival of “Robin Hood” the Aborn Production Co. have spared no expense as regards cast, chorus and costumes and scenic envi ronment The cast of ten principals and chorus of forty trained voices A Runaway Marriage. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Rhine, four miles west of Albany, Miss Olive Jay and Mr. D. W. Denson were married at 3:30 o'clock yesterday af ternoon, Justice of the Peace B. F. Manning officiating. The bride Is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. day, of Han sen. Ga.. former Albanians. She has been visiting at. the home of her un cle, Mr. Thos. E. Oliver, In Arcadia, for the last few weeks, and has been the recipient, of" marked attention from Mr. Denson. Yesterday afternoon the young cou ple left. Mr. Oliver’s home, ostensibly for a drive. They proceeded direct to the home of Mr. Shine, where they were met by Justice Manning and a small party of friends, the ceremony being performed at the hour stated above. The bride is quite young, not hav ing attained her sixteenth year, and is an exceedingly attractive young woman. The groom is a well known Albanian, and is engaged in success ful business operations. He and his bride have the best wishes of their many friends. ' Atlanta, Ga., Jan. 1.—(Special.)— State School Commissioner Merritt is sending out a circular letter to all the county superintendents advising tree planting at home and at school during January and February. Arbor day ex- ercises are suggested as a part of the observance of Georgia day, Lee’s birthday and Washington’s birthday.
