Mayor Rawson holds his first police
court tomorrow, and there will prob
ably be a large audience at the morn
ing performance. The police court
habitues are on the anxious bench,
waiting to see how hard the new may
or will fine the guilty ones.

The holldaj's are over now. The
Christinas decorations have been tak

falling to normal, and travel Is not
near so heavy as last week and the

The burning off of woods and fields
