This statement comes official ly today. "It was stated In the Observer Sat urday that negotiations were on be tween F. R. and C. W. Pldcock that would probably result in the latter getting the former’s stock In the road. F. R. Pldcock said this morning that he. is not selling stock but Is buying. He has secured the stock formerly held by J. R. Hackett. "There will he no official changes in the road, except that C. W. Pid- cock will become president and gen eral manager. The latter said this morning that the property would re- mian In the Pldcock family perma nently. They have no idea of merging with other roads or selling to other lines, The road will be developed as the business shall warrant it, and its service Improved. It has been an nounced that work will soan he start, ed on terminal property In Albany. Messrs. .1. N. and C. W.
