It may be gradual revolution, felt as a wind, or a rnpld revolution, felt as an ordina ry storm. This revolution Is known as a cyclone. ‘‘The word tornado was first used to describe the awful revolving storms which navigators used to encounter In Carribenn watt vs, and hence ap plied essentially to a whirl dyom a few hundred feet to a quarter of mile In diameter, moving forward with destructive force. Tornado, and not cyclone, Is the proper name for the Albany storm.” Mr. Lawton talks like he knows whereof he speaks, so please don’t call It a cyclone.
