House Keeping Pleasures
Aside from its value as a business and home neces
sity, the telephone is a pleasure, particularly in the
home. It solves the problems
of housekeeping. If the busy
man is delayed at the office, it
informs the home and relieves
anxiety. If unlooked-for com
plications arise at the last
miuuite, it straightens them
out in a satisfactory manner.
Social engagements are made
and broken and the pleasure
and comfort of housekeeping
made doubly enjoyable. TO
DAY is a good time to order
a telephone installed in YOUR residence.

Father Taylor’s youngest grand
child declared, she saw angels in the
clouds beckoning her to come and
play. One day a little friend said;
“You’re not the only one who sees
angels. There's a friend of mine up
there, too. See!” Little Pearl looked
and then drawled with exasperating
indifference; “Oh, yes. But she isn’t
much of an angel, is she, sitting on
the back door steps of heaven, a-
swlngirig her feets.”

doesn’t digest the food itself.*and give
the stomach rect. You can't expect
that a weak stomach will regain its
strength and get well when it is
compelled to do the full work that a
sound stomach should do. You
wouldn't expect a sick horse to get
well when it lc compelled to do a
full day’s work every uay of the week.
