A contract has been awarded for the erection of a new freight warehouse for the Atlnntlc Coast Line railway. . The building wRl be on the site of the one destroyed by fire several months ago. There has been consid erable delay In placing a contract, but the officials of the road had good and sufficient reasons tor handling the matter as they did. The new building will be opposite the county Jail, facing Washington street and running back parallel with Flint. It will be quite ns largo ns the building recently destroyed, and, it may bo, slightly larger. It will be built entirely of brick, wherens the old warehouse was a frame structure. It will contain the offices of the freight agent and his assistants, and will have greater conveniences than the former structure. It will occasion general satisfaction to know that a new brick warehouse will be erected on the Coast Line property, though It will perhaps be several weeks before work begins on the building.
