Putillo, manager of the Georgia Cotton Oil Co., and for a number of years a resident of Albany, was slightly injured Saturday in the accident at the anion passenger sta tion in Macon, when a Central train backed Into the lunch stand of T. C. Parker, the result of failure of the brakes of the train to work. For tunately, Mr. Patlllo was bat slightly injured. Death of Mr. D. L. Adams. Mr. David L. Adams, aged 26 years, a well-known Albanian, after an ill ness of several months, died at his home in this city about V o’clock Sat urday night. Mr. Adams had been ill since last July. His condition had been serious for some time, and death was by no means unexpected. The deceased was married not quite two years ago. He is survived by his wife and one little 10-monthB-old boy, Clifford AdamB. He was a farmer by occupation, and had been making Al bany his home for the last ten years. The funeral services were held yes terday Rfternoon at 3 o'clock at the home. Rev. T. H. Thomson, pastor of the local Methodist church, officiating. Mr. Adams was a Baptist, but Rev. V. L. Richards, the Baptist minister, was ill, and could not conduct the ser vices. Among those who attended the fu neral yetterday were Mr. AY. C. Hoy, his father-in-law, of Sylvester, Mr. C. E. Hay, of Sylvester, and Mr. C. E. Pass, of Cordele. Air. Adams was well known hare, and his death Is widely mourned. In their bereavement, the members of the stricken family have the sympathy of a host of friends, both here and else where.
