Mr. Rawlins McKinney spent yester
day In Cordele, on a pleasure trip.
Mr. Melville - Strauss, of Columbus,
will be among the visitors at the daiuft
at the Elks' Hall tonight.
Mr. Tobe Wall, who has been em
ployed as prescription clerk by the
Hoggard Drug Co. since its establish
ment here, left Albany yesterday after
noon for Dawson, his former home,
which city he will make his home in
future. Mr. Wall was one of the most
popular young men here, and his
friends regret sincerely his departure,
and wish him the good foitune he de
serves.

Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Ziegler left the
city this afternon for a visit to some
of Mr. Ziegler’s Kentucky friends who
are spending the winter at Coronado,
on the east coast of Florida. Mr. and
Mrs. Ziegler expect to be. away for
two weeks or more, and both of them
hope to derive from the soft climate
and salt air needed relief from win
ter colds. Their many friends at
home wish them a pleasant outing.
Mr. Dudley Ragan, of Leesburg, was

Mr. Ned Flynn returned to the city
yesterday, after a short visit in
Americus.
Rev. W. L. Richards left the city
today fer Summerville, S. C., where
he will spend several weeks for' his

Altman in business. He will move his
family here in about three weeks.
New York, Feb. 5.—Count Armand
de Gontau Biron, cousin of Count Boni
de Castellane, said yesterday that he
had, received from Paris a cablegram,
"Say it Is not true," signed “Boni.”
De Biron said the message con
firmed his opinion that the report re
garding trouble between tho Count and
his wife, formerly Miss Anna Gould,
was not true. He says he has never
known of a serious disagreement be
tween the couple, and is sure no hill
for divorce has been filed yet.
