CITY COURT ADJOURNS AFTER 4-DAY SESSION Verdict of Not Guilty Returned In the Case of David Einstein. The City Court was adjourned by Judge Croaland at noon today, after an interesting session of four days. Quite a number of cnses, both crim inal and civil, were disposed of. There were several cases in which some in terest centered, but few of enough gen eral Internet for publication. Among fhe oases around which most interest, centered was that against Mr. David Einstein, of Camilla, charged ^cheating am) swindling. The with case was made by Clark ft Co., local cotton brokers. The prosecutors charged that Mr. Einstein had 'phoned them to sell two cotton contracts for lilm, saying that the necessary money) had'been sent by mail. They claltfied that the con tracts were sold, btic the money never arrived, and that the deal had to be closed, with a loss to complainants. The defendant nverred that he had nbt advised Clark & Co. to make the deal, but had only discussed the mat ter with thorn. The Jury leturned verdict of not guilty. THOSE ALBANY UNIFORMS. Boggs, for merly of the Arm of railroad contrac tors, Maher ft Boggs, has filed suit against his former partner, W. R. Ma her, for *20,000 damages. Boggs says Maher wrote n letter to the chief en gineer of the construction department of the Southern Railway, claiming that Boggs was a common cheat and swind ler. THE WEATHER. JOft BMvB.
