PLEASV'RE
HE
gfrV;
The business man must have his
hours of pleasure. Nature demands
that work be put aside and the mind
be given a short vacation every day.
In the home the telephone affords more
pleasure than any other agency. s
ready for use, rain or shine, day or night.
The household can communicate with
friends or relatives. The groceryman,
the butcher, the doctor and the druggist are constantly in
reach of the voice. It was not such a facetious person.
after all, who remarked:
“What is home

The Yellow Fever Germ
has recently been discovered. It bears
a closo resemblance to the malaria
germ. To free the system from dis
ease germs, the most effective remedy
is Dr. King's New Life Pills. Guar
anteed to cure all diseases due to ma-
Inrinl poison and constipation. 25c at
Albany Drug Co.
The card on the naked live wires
strung so promiscuously in the city
which appeared in the Herald a short
while ago, seems to have aroused a
good deal of interest, and quite often
the matter is discussed. It is claimed
that the wires are uninsulated, and are
very dangerous.
All old-time Cough Syrups bind tbe
bowels. This Is wrong. A new Idea
was advanced two years ago In Ken
nedy's Laxative Honey and Tar. This
remedy acts on tho mucous mem
branes of the throat and lungs nnd
loosens the bowels at the same time.
It expels all cold from the system. It
clears the throat, strengthens the mu
cous membranes, relieves coughs,
colds, croup, whooping cough, otc.
Sold by Albany Drug Co., Hllsman-
Sale Drug Co.
The theatrical season has nearly
ended. There haven’t been very many
attractions this season, the yellow
fever scaring off many that at first in
tended visiting this section. Still the
season has lacked a great deal of being a
quiet one. There will be only one or
two more attractions before the house
is dark for the summer.

Dandruff Is Eradicated

Its softness and glossiness; and yet tbe
