Now Orleans, Feb. 20.—The course of options In the foreign market was of no more than passing Interest. On the close a net decline of some 3 to 4 points from Saturday was reported. Sales of 14,000 bales alone oxeeeded expectations, from which it is obvious that spinners’ requirements show no signB of diminishing. Moderate sell ing by Alexandria interests was a view expressed, but otherwise there was no news from abroad. The nervous state into which the market has worked itBelf on account of the liquidation of tho March posi tion is still prevalent, but much less Intensified now that the first notice day In New York Is practically over, While the 'circulation is even larger than expected we understand that a great number of notices have been stopped. The depressing Influence effect upon our opening and Inshrdlu caused by this state of affairs had Its effect upon our opening, and In fact was an influencing factor throughout the day, but In tho early trading a steadier tone was Inspired by some of tho orstwhlle bulls londlng their sup- lrart. A good demand for cotton is report ed from the ranks of tho exporters, but offerings of grades, as such are do sired, being so limited business natur ally restricted. Good cotton Is what tho splner wants nnd good cotton the exporter must have to fulfill his en gagements. Any clear uml Intelligent discussion ns to the probable course of tho mar- ket Is Indeed a dlfllcult proposition whllo public opinion seems to conflict as to what conditions nro paramount In influencing the trado. For our part, we are rather inclined to. view preparations for tho new crop and weather conditions that are to govern samo as tho most* Important Influence. The public Is fully awaro of the comparatively small size of the present crop, and the Increased con sumption of linishcd goods ns tho nat ural development of new territories 'throughout the world yearly takes plnco, and yet a deaf oar Is turned nnd interest lings'. Therefore, that must be Inferred that Influences will bo A Healing Goepel. The Rev. J. C. Warren, pastor of Sharon Baptist Church, Belatr, Ga., Bays of Electric Bitters; "It's a God send to mankind. It cured me of lame back, stiff joints, and complete physical collapse. I was so weak It took me half an hour to walk a mile. Two bottles of Electric Bitters have made me so strong I have just walked three miles In 50 minutes and feel like walking three more. It’s made a new man of me.” Greatest remedy for weakness and all Stomach, Liver and Kidney complaints. Sold under guar antee at Albany Drug Co. Price 50c. Sold by Hilsman-Sale Drug Co. largely sentimental in character and prices changes will be commensurate with the views entertained, but for the immediate future, while conditions are so perplexing, the speculative field appears to be limited to Bcalping oper ations. GIBERT & CLAY. Many people suffer for years from rheumatic pains, and prefer to do so rather than take the strong medicines usually -given for rheumatism, not knowing that quick relief from pain may be had simply by applying Cham berlain’s Pain Balm and without tak ing any medicine Internally. Rev. Amos Parker, of Magnolia, North Car olina, suffered for eight years with a lame hip, due to severe rheumatic pains. He has been ‘permanently cured by the free application of Cham berlain’s Pain Balm. For sale by Hits- tnan-Bale Drug Co. Phone 280 for Stove Wood anS Chips. \ Mlu Russell’* Talks. At the Presbyterian church yester day afternoon, special services In the interest of missionary work were con ducted by Miss Lois Russell, of Moul trie, who is shortly to take up mission ary work In a foreign field. Miss Rus sell made an exceedingly Interesting talk, (is she did at the Sunday school In the morning. She also addressed the ladles of the church on Saturday afternoon. , All old-time Cough Syrups bind the bowels. This is wrong. A new idea was advanced two years ago in Ken nedy’^ Laxative Honey and Tar. This remedy acts on the mucous mem branes of the throat and lungs and loosens the bowelB at the same time. It expels all cold from the system. It clears the throat, strengthens the mu cous membranes, relieves, coughs, colds, croup, whooping cough, etc. Sold by Albany Drug Co., Hllsman- Sale Drug Co.
