relative to the now famous Ducktown

Dont’ forget that meeting for the
purpose of organizing that athletic
club on March 5. With the Guards
well organized, with a large drill hall
and gymnasium 'and a german club,
outside of the mlTUary, with u pro
fessional league baseball team, and
with an athletic club, It seems that
the yoling men of the city will not find
It very hard to pass away their Idle
moments. The establishment of a
park would do for the children what
these other organizations will do for
their elders. . ’

The present winter has been re
markable for several things, but for
\
nothing .more than its mildness.
There have been vpry few days that
brought freezing temperature, and
’’big" frosts have been almost as rare.
The fear Is often heard expressed that
there has not been sulflclent cold to
exterminate the noxious germs left
oyer by the summer of 1905.
