w?.; g THE ALBANY DAILY HERALDS FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 1906. •GORTATOWSKY BROS. GET NEW THEATRE CHAIRMAN YEOMANS IS-NOT TALKING. A CARNEGIE LIBRARY FOR THE GEORGIA TECH. HSive Leased Fine Amusement House at Athena—Now Have Five Thea tres. Speculation as to When the State Prl- , mary Will Be Held. Special to The Herald. Atlanta, Ga„ March 16.—Hon. M. J. Yeomans, chairman of the State Demo cratic Executive Committee, was a visitor at the state capital yesterday. He said he had no idea when the com mittee would' be called together to fix the date for holding the primary at which a governor will be nominated. He declined to make any sort of pre diction as to the date of meeting. It is believed by some of the wiseacre politicians that the primary will be called for August. This, of course, is mere speculation. Messrs. Gortatowsky Bros., of this city, have added another to their string of Georgia theatres, and will have five under their management next season. The newly leased theatre Is'that lo cated. at Athens. To plant unreliable seeds is to bury money. It is also a waste of money to pay too much for good seeds'. It will be a satisfaction to you to buy fresh seeds of guaranteed reliability, and to get them at fairest prices. We handle none but seeds supplied by growers who can be trusted. We shall appreciate your patronage and believe that you will in due seeson appreciate the quality of the seeds supplied. i 1 It Delongs to Mich ael Bros., of that city, and they have agreed to spend a large sum on the property before the opening of next season. The Improvements planned will make the theatre one of the most up-to-date in the state. Messrs. Gorta towsky Bros, have secured a five-year lease. This deal gives these enterprising young business men of Albany a string of five theatres, one being located In this city and the others at Athens, Waycross, Valdosta and Griffin. The arrangement is one which enables the losses to secure better attractions and a better arrangement of dates than would otherwise be possible. During the season of 1906-7 a finer lino of attractions than has ever visit ed the five cities named will be se cured as the result of the enterprise of Messrs. Gortatowsky Bros. They deserve to succeed, nud it Is not doubt ed that they will. , A Lively Tussle with that old enemy of the race, Con stipation, often ends in Appendicitis.
