“After looking at the tile sidewalks
that have recently been laid In Al

"1 have come to the Inevitable conclu
sion that there Is tiling and tiling, and
that that which has been dished out
to Albauy is of the bum variety. I
noticed a number of holes In the tiles
a short while after they were laid,
and afterwards saw the pavers patch-
Ing them up. In other words. It seems
to me, the tiling didn't last until they
got through laying It."

That high school building will be
built some' time, sooner or later, but
the Indications now are that It will be
later. The building Is going up, and
from the plans, Jt Is going to be a
mighty creditable structure. For this
reason, and because It Is so badly
needed, the people of Albany want to
see It constructed as soon as possible,
and to have it ready for the opening
of school next fall.
