Single and Double Breasted Only One Cqjatest in , Election Ticket, Riiles, Etc, lorrow—The The white Democratic primary elec tion for the nomination of county of-, fleers for Dougherty county, to be voted for at the next regular state election, wiii be held tomorrow. ’ Except for the fact that there are ^wo candidates for the office of treas urer, tomorrow’s primary will be a very tame affair. The present county officers are all candidates for re-elec tion, and there is no opposition to imy of them, but, under a recent de cision of the Supreme Court, it is understood that the treasurership will be separated from the office of Clerk of the Superior Court, and two candi dates are offering for the office of Treasurer. Rules and Regulations. The following rules and regulations for the government of this primary were adopted by the County Demo cratic Executive Committee: Each candidate will be required to pay to the chairman of the, executive committee not later than the noon of March 20 the sum of $5 for the ex pense of the election, including tickets. The committee will, have tickets printed with the names of all candi dates printed thereon, and voters will erase all names except those lor whom they desire to vote, and only those not erased will ho counted. The use of money, whiskey, car- 1 riages, or other Inducements for the purpose of influencing voters is pro hibited, and the committee will rule out any candidate who'may be proved to . be guilty of employing any such means. Only registered white Democratic voters will be eligible to vote in this primary. The polls will open’at 8 o’clock a. m. and close’at 5 o’clock p. m. The executive committed will pieet at noon on Friday, March 23, receive the returns from the managers, hear protests and complaints, If there be any, and declare the result of the pri mary. * The polls will be opened at the county court house and at Pretoria. The following managers have been appointed for the court house: J. R. DeGraffenrieh, N. P. and Ex-Officio J. P., William Jocketh and Clarence R. Gleaton. These managers are author ized J:o select their clerks. Magistrate J. L. Dozier, who is a member of the Democratic Executive Committee, will organize the board of managers and supervise. the election at Pretoria. V • The Ticket. Following is the official ballot as .prepared by the Democratic Executive Committee: Official Ballot For White Democratic Primary, held March 22, 1906, for- the nomination of erty county. Election held under rules and regulations of Democratic Execu tive Committee of Dougherty county. The' names of all candidates an nounced and eligible are on this ticket.
