Scruggs, of the Seaboard, Tells Savannshans of the Progress of this City. The following from the Savannah Morning News of Saturday, will he of Interest to Albanians: Mr. Wlrtly P. Scruggs, traveling passenger agent tor the Seaboard Air; Line, returned yesterday from Albany, where he got the veterans In line for the movement to the New Orleans re union, and In addition noted the strides which Albany Is making toward a greater olty. ,'“Albany Is going right ahead,” said Mr. Scruggs,' “and there Is no telling where or when the town will stop with ‘hold, enough!’ I do not think she Is going to stop, for the way John Betjeman Is \ working gives promise that Albany Is destined to a growth unprecedented In the examples here tofore set by South Georgia,cities. “They are paving the main streets, for one thing,” continued Mr..
