your hat
Maj Be a Styliih One, Bat ft Make*
Trouble.
A man usually buys a hat that’s 4, in
style,” but the modern hat for men has
jots to answer for.
Baldheads are growing more numer
ous every day. Hats make excellent
breeding places for the parasitic germs
which sap the life from the roots of the
hair.
When your hair begins to fall out and
your scalp is full of Dandruff it is a
sure sign that these countless germs are
busily at work. f
There is but one way. to overcome the
trouble and kill the germs—that way 4s
to apply Newbro's Herpiclde to the
scalp—it will kill the germs and healthy
hair Is sure td result.

“I notice that the city council is
considering the advisability of having
a correct and thorough census taken,”
said an Albanian yesterday afternoon,
"and I think it a mighty good plan.
Albany -has many more people than
Bhe Is given credit for by the United
States census, and this is the way to
prove It. Besides, the new census,
ns compared with the last census, will
serve to show the magnificent growth
of the city In the last few years.”

THE PERFECT HOME
requires perfect plumbing. And the
beauty and healthfulness of modern
snnltary plumbing are not to be Ig
nored. Just compare the modem
plumbing with the
OLD STYLE PLUMBING.
“Just so," you say, “but the old kind
was cheaper.” Not a bit of It. Come
and talk plumbing to us and you will
learn better. Others have done so
already.
“So the city council had the propo
sition brought before it whether or
not the houses of the city ought to be
renumbered,” ! remarked as patriotic
an Albanian as ever drew breath. “It
doesn’t look much like a question to
me. Albany’s homes and business
buildings hre practically without num
bers. Not only this, but hor streets
are not named. I would respectfully
suggest that while the council Is con
sidering renumbering the houses, It
j will bite off a little more, and name
Albany's streets, also.”

“So the city officials are having a
time getting hold of a suitable place
for the proposed park,” said a travel
ing man yesterday to a representative
of The Herald. “It Is the same old
tale, though—all kinds of sites for a
park until you begin trying to get one.
I suppose that there is a suitable,
available place in Albany, though, and
those in charge will get hold of It
soon. I am glad to see the council
acting favorably on the park propo
sition, for I have always thought she
needed one and needed It badly.”

Much merriment has been caused by
the discovery that in the Egyptian
