Three men Killed and Half a Dozen Others Injured. Knoxville, Tenn., April 6.—A special from Rogersville, Tenn., says: "News has been received' here of a disastrous holler explosion at Kyle’B Fohl, fifteen miles from Rogersville, late yesterday. Three men were kill- ed, two seriously Injured and four slightly Injured. The explosion came without the slightest warning. The cause Is not known. Albany Odd Fellows, Masons and Knights of Pythias have a plan on foot for the erection of a fine build ing on the Odd Fellows' lot, on the southwest corner of Broad and Jack- son streets. The plan contemplates the erection of a four-story building, the two upper floors containing commodious lodge rooms, the second floor club rooms and the ground floor stores. There will be a meeting tomorrow afternoon or evening of representatives of all three of the orders mentioned that have lodges in this city. At this meeting Jhe matter will be gone into in detail, and some plan of action will be'outlined. ''The Odd Fellows, according to a statement made to a Herald man this morning by a prominent member of Evergreen Lodge, No. 65. are pre pared to put 620,000 Into the enter prise, that amount to Include the lot on the corner of Broad and Jackson at a fair valuation. It the other two lodges will raise the remainder, there will be no doubt as to the success of the enterprise. And from what The Herald learns, the Masons and Knights are not less enthusiastic over the pro ject than the Odd Fellows. The Odd Fellows have been making arrangements to build for some time. The Masons, too, have had building plans under consideration, and the Knights have been seeking ways and means of securing such a home as they would like to have. This scheme of a combination of In terests and resources has a commend able spirit back of it. The building would be a fine thing, and it Is sin cerely hoped that this new move will be quick to bear fruit. A Scientific Wonder. Magold, South Germany, April 6.— The Stag Hotel collapsed today while the guests were at lunch. Several bodies have been removed and many other victims are supposed to he in the ruins.
