Atlanta, Ga., April 9.—April 30 is tha date and the Kimball House is the place selected for the meeting of the State Democratic Executive Committee which will set the day for holding the pri mary in Georgia to nominate a candi date for Governor. The call for this meeting has just been issued by Chair man Yeomans. At this meeting the committemen will prescribe the rules to govern the primary. In addition to the candidates for governor the follow ing state officers will also be voted for: Judges, solicitors-general, U. S. sena tors and other state officers. Mr. Yeo mans says that it was his original in tention to call the meeting for April 21, but after consulting with other members of the committee he found that April 30 would be more acceptable to the majority of his colleagues. The last state Democratic Convention rec ommended that the state primary be held not earlier than July 10. It seems to be the consensus of opinion that the committee will fix a date for the pri mary in August, probably about the first of that month.
