The Tifton Gazette, noting what tho Albany, Business League has been do ing, makes a suggestion as follows: The- Albany Business League haa already clone much good' work for Its city and section, and along the line It has mapped out, the Gazette would suggest another public necessity: A mallclork on trains 94 and 96 between Tifton and Brunswick. For several decades, the people along this divis ion of the Atlantic Coast Lino have had only bne mall each way per day. The wonderful development of the sec tion the line traverses has brought about an entirely new condition of affairs, and better facilities are now of urgent necessity. Under the new schedule, both these trains could carry mail, thus giving two malls per day, and greatly facilitating the transac tion of business, If Albany’s Business League will tako tho matter up, the Gazette promises thorn Tilton's hearty cooperation. Ferris Cann will probably be the nomi nee of the Peoples’ Democratic League for Senator from the First Georgia dis trict. This report has not been con firmed by anyone in authority, but the impression 4s that Mr. Cann will be asked to make the race. The Citizens' Club will probably nominate Mr. Pleas- ant”A.' Stovall, who is now a represen tative from Chatham. It is this coun- ty'a turn to name the Senator from the First District. If either of the gentle men named should go the District would have an able representative. Mr. Cann has served one term in the senate. Mr. Stovall is Bowing his second term in the house now. The legislative can didates have not been selected yet by either faction. The Original Laxative Cough Syrup Is Kennedy’s Laxative Honey and Tar.
