Ferris Cann will probably be the nomi nee of the Peoples’ Democratic League for Senator from the First Georgia dis trict. This report has not been con firmed by anyone in authority, but the impression 4s that Mr. Cann will be asked to make the race. The Citizens' Club will probably nominate Mr. Pleas- ant”A.' Stovall, who is now a represen tative from Chatham. It is this coun- ty'a turn to name the Senator from the First District. If either of the gentle men named should go the District would have an able representative. Mr. Cann has served one term in the senate. Mr. Stovall is Bowing his second term in the house now.
