Ward, pastor of the Temple Baptist church, and State Senator Hamby, of the Fortieth district, appeared yester day before the State Prison Commis sion to press the petition asking for a pardon for R. A. Keith, of Atlanta, who Is under a life sentence for kill ing B. E. Wall In 1901. Keith claimed Justification, alleging that he slew the destroyer of his home.
