St. Paul's Episcopal church wnB beautifully bedecked with flowers, ferns and palms yesterday, and the Easter services were largely attended and greatly enjoyed. The principal service of the day was the Celebration of the Holy Commun ion and Sermon at 11 o’clock, but an other very interesting and beautiful service was the children's song service in the evening. At the morning service an elaborate musical program was rendered by the vested choir of forty voices. The se lections were beautiful and their ren dition was extremely good. Mr, Wright’s sermon showed much thought and study and was such a discourse ns will leave its Impress upon the many hearers far Into the future. The service In the evening was a special children’s Easter song service. The program was made up of a num ber of beautiful Easter hymns sung by. the children of St. Paul’s Sunday school, assisted by the vested choir. Mr. Wright made one of his charac teristically lmppy children’s talks, and the service was altogether beautiful. Many thought that the decorations In the church yesterday were prettier than ever before. Roses were used al most entirely In these decorations, the pulpit and reading stand and the ends of the choir pews being covered with these beautiful flowers, so arranged as to show appropriate Easter designs. 'l One of the pleasant little incidens of the service yesterday morning occur red when Mrs. Wright, the organist, took her place at the organ to begin the morning service. ’ A large bunch of sweet peas had been placed on the organ, and In the envelope which was attached to the flowerB was a sum of money for Mrs. Wright from the ladies of the church, a very much appreci ated Easter remembrance.
