Last night Miss Rosa Woolfolk en tertained in honor of her cousin, Miss Rosa Woolfolk, of North Carolina. About fifty guests responded to the invitations, and an impromptu da\:e was enjoyed. Delicious refreshments were served and at a late hour the ■ guests departed after a most enjoyable evening. of Macon, is Mr. J. M. Miss Ida Virginia Smith returned Thursday night from Savannah, and left Friday morning for Eufaula, where she will have charge of the children’s department of the Eufaula Chautau qua. -Capt. E. H. Shackelford’s friends are glad to see him out. Mrs. John Randolph Whitehead en tertained a few friends yesterday af ternoon, complimentary to Mrs. Wil liam M. Davant, of Savannah. Like numerous social gatherings held in this elegant home in the past, this one was characterized by the gracious hos pitality which the guests of the occa sion had reason to expect. Mrs. C. M. Clark won the prize, a beautiful clasp pin, and a handsome lace handkerchief was presented to the guest of honor, Mrs. Davant. Mr. G. M. Myers, of Chlpley, Fla., is among the visitors in Albany today. Mr. T. S. Morgan, Jr., of Savannah, is in the city, attending to business matters. Miss Georgle Fryer, of Forestvllle, S.
