A WOMAN TO BE PRETTY Iftut Hare Luxuriant and Glouj Hair, Wo Matter What Color. The finest contour of a female face, the sweetest smile of a female mouth, loses something If the head Is crowned with scant hair. Scant and falling hair, it is now known, is caused by a parasite that burrowB into the scalp to the root of the hair, where It saps the vitality. The lit tle vyhlte scales the germ throws up In burrowing are called dandruff. To cure dandruff permanently, then, and to atop falling hair, that germ must be killed. Newbro’e Herploide, an entirely new re sult of the chemical laboratory, destroys the dandruff germ, and, of course, stops the falling hair, and prevents baldness. Sold by leading druggists. Mr. von Pills, the manager of tho Lloyd’s emigrant business, while In the South recently, said that the Southern states can get plenty of good foreign labor and small farmers If they are desired. Throughout the continent of Europe the word has spread, he asserts, that the cities of America, particularly New York and Chicago, aro now filled to overflowing with foreigners, and with It hns gone the tidings that the great agricultural states of the South, like Georgia and Alabama, hold out golden promises to the rugged alien whose life dream Is a home of his own and enough acres to provide a comfortable livelihood for his family. Hundreds of thousands of stalwart peasants of German blood will flock to America, he declares, with their bag gage checked straight through to dis tant points In the South, and they will bring money enough to give them n fair start in the life they wish to lead. They will not come with the Intention of returning after they have accumu lated what In their native countries would be considered n snug fortune, but will leave homo with the declared purpose of becoming American cit izens and adopting American Ideas. America, Mr. von Pills says, phould not regard with alarm the Incoming horde of foreigners, but should wel come them, and should give a double welcome to tho swurmB of agricultur ists which will come here in the next half dozen years. Any country In Eu rope, he says, would be sorry to lose them; every country should be glad to welcome them os residents.
