You Can Till Your Parlor
The Stricken Itore From Grief.
What.a fortunate provision of nature
.« Is, that deprives the rose of mental ,
suffering; for hour poignant would be Its !
grief to discover, In the height of its
blooming glory, that a canker fed at Its
heart, and that Its beauty and fragrance
were doomed forever. Nature always
spares the suffering; she is a veritable
store-house of pleasing rewards, for I
those who seek her aid. In the years
gone by falling hair and 'grayness have
cast a gloom over the lives of thousands
of young women, hut thanks to the In
vestigations of scientists the trqe cause
of hair destruction Is now known to he
a germ or parasite that burrows Into
the hair follicles. Newbro's Herpldde
absolutely destroys’ this germ, thus
permitting the hair to grow as na

1 Mr. J. A. Wamble, of the fire depart
ment, Is spending a ten days’ vacation
fishing on tho banks of the Hodchod-
kee, near Lumpkin. According to the
reports he sends back Ills luck Is even
beyond that of the average fisherman
away from home. He has sent three
striped, soft-slielled turtles back to
friends In the city, by collect express.
Officer Walden Is away, too, on his
summer vacation, fishing. His prow
ess in tills line hns been such that n
bass of very unusual weight has been
received by some friends of his; also
a turtle. Just why they Inflict these
striped turtles upon their friends Is
hard to tell, and one of the recipients
ot their bounty explains It by saying
that their luck Isn’t all it might be—
that the turtles are sent as a blind.
