The statistical position of the pres ent crop continues to show with each succeeding week a most satisfactory progress. The American visible has decreased 30,000 bales over the corre-' spondlng week last year and 79,000 bales over the same time In 1904, while spinners’ takings, the real Index to the healthiness of the cotton trade, are placed at 193,000 bales of Ameri can for the week, against 218,000 last year, and only 87,000 the year before.
