Near Wide Water Ohio, Mary Ho
man, aged fifty-five, came suddenly
on the railroad track at a point where
the dirt road crosses the rails, in u

struck in the side aud instantly kill

German emigrants are fiuding

day Prof. F. L. Freyer, of this place,
gave an order to Mr. Francis Fon
taine for a German laborer and on
Sufedgy afternoon he arrived and is
now at work at remunerative wages.
We learn Mr. Fontaine has orders
for sight man from our oitixens.—

The Ooehran Enterprise states
that a boy named Bryant wus plow
ing tbe other day and beard a hissing
noise above him, and lookidg up saw
that tbe whole elements were dark
with wild ducks. Strange to say one
of the fiook fell near him, and on in
vestigation it was found to be dead,
with a ballet hole through its body.
It had beea dead long enough to be
gia to rot.
