that Treasurer Speer has gradually
checked the State’s funds from the
Griffin bank, until the amount now
in that institution is less than $300.

declined to reoeive the money when
it was tendered him, claiming that

only as the necessities of the State
required it.
Mr. A. A, Wright, of North Grif
fin, has amwp pond supplied with
