pared for laying the stone. The
stone work on the Baptist church
is finished ready «lor the brick
work.
Mr. J. H. Clay, who did a good-
deal of the brick work in Canton
is working on the church. He has
been away from here about six
years.
We know of no more desirable
place in Georgia few men to settle
than in Canton, Business is good
all the year round. It is proverbial
ly moral. No town excells in this
or good health. It is now and always
will be the best shipping point for
every thing that is made. Now is
the time to come to Canton. See
