Last Tuesday was the biggest sale
day ever in Cautou. Abaut two huu
dred lots of land were sold for taxes.
These were what are tenerally
known as “Wild lands” The bidding
Was pretty lively for several hours.
The lots of land brought from one
to 20 dollars. Most of the boys
