land was shrewdly nominated by

Although Mr. Cleveland refused to
make a personal canvass he wa.i

in a city that can usually Is* counted

commanded general respect. His

year and turned the same over to
the ordinary. It is very neatly ex
ecuted and a tine showing is made
for Cherakee over last year which
speaks well for Mr. Arvvood. An
efficient and pains taking receiver

of the county. We have taken upon
ourselves the trouble of ascertaining
a few facts, relative to our county
and herewith present the result of
