A Miracle.
Mrs. T. S. Eberline, of 174 Market
Street, Allegheny City, Pa., now living at
Keokuk, Iowa, had been sick for years,
and Anally passed into consumption. The
physicians who attended her were among
the very beat in the city. They did ev
erything that the most gifted among them
Were capable of doing, and honorably
told her Wist nothing more could l>e done,
that the could not live over that night.
About midnight death began to close the
suffering of the gooJ wife and dutiful
mother, and as the friends and family
were gathered around the bed in tears to
Witness her passage to eternity, another
physician suddenly entered and softly
whispered. ‘‘Get PmkC.VA,quickly; hur
ry !” It was brought, and though the
breathing had almost ceased, her lips
were livid, finger nails blue, the pulse had
ceased at the wrist. “Oh," sighed the
friends, “it is too late; do not trouble her
any longer;’’ but site swsMowcd a little,
rallied and expcctorateJ a great mouth
ful: she breathed easier; she sw allowed a
little more, and again she raised more
phlegm; the breathing improved; the by.
stander* took courage, and they perse*
vered with the PNM0M4 until she wa«
surely better. The pulse returned, the
circulation was re-established, tlte lips and
neilt became natural, after which a lea*
spoonful of the Pxruna every hour was
administered, and she continued to im
prove. In a few days she sat up; in two
weeks she was the Heartiest eater in the
house, and in three months she was per
fectly well. Who is not convinced of the
unequal worth of Pxruna. For affida

Mr*. M. A, Lee has again open
ed her music class at this place
and will teach vocal and instru
mental music alone. She now has
a large class but dcsirious of oth
ers and intends giving her entire
attention to the class. She, comes
here well recommendedaa a vocal

and has more than sustained that
reputation among us. Parties
contemplating the study of mu

a fine teacher and her prices less
than any who have heretofore
taught m usic at this place consid
